Environment Bay

Bay is the third environment for TrackMania Sunrise. It was shown only a few times before the game's release in April, 2005.
Amid the hustle and bustle of the buildings of Bay, bounce from rooftop to rooftop at the wheel of a 4x4 with distinction! The ride will be quick, bouncy and highly responsive, with a fantastic "stunt" feel thanks to a very dynamic suspension! In this ultra-detailed, entirely urban environment, Bay lets you play with the elements that make up the town. From the docks to the roofs of the buildings, a "street" feel is the order of the day, with loops, blocks straight out of skate parks, and other urban chaos "made in Nadeo"!

Car
The 4x4 has very good acceleration and a bouncy suspension making it ideal for stunts. High speed cornering is difficult, as the car can flip when cornering speeds are too great.

Popularity
Bay is possibly the least popular environment in TMS. One reason for this could be that it is harder to make good tracks compared to Island and Coast.
Gameplay
Bay gameplay is the one which lends itself better to freestyle in Sunrise. Its luxurious 4x4, dropped in the urban jungle of a Far East harbour (by seeing the different inscriptions which are spread in the landscape), has a very flexible and dynamic suspension amplifying every bump or jump landing without significantly decreasing the vehicle's speed. This one shows a "medium" maximum speed, near 600 km/h. This makes acrobatics requiring a rather high jump easier, especially that it lands on its wheels quite easily (contrary to Island sport car in particular). The steering is also rather reactive. In that, Bay shows rather pronounced similarities with the environment Alpine from Original on a par with its gameplay.
