Uploading images

Before using pictures in a Wiki article, you have to upload them to the TM-Wiki server. It's not possible to use pictures on others servers or your hard disk.

Furthermore, if you add a picture to the English website, don't forget to add it to the French one too, since they use different servers. This will facilitate an easy article translation.

Image usage

1. Do not use copyrighted images
2. Don't use too much images, please check their size and codec
3. Use galleries and thumbnails, avoid using real size pictures

Syntax

Insert an image

To insert an image use one of the following strings:

[[Image:image name]]
[[Image:image name|options|caption]]

Here is the option list. You can use the pipe character: "|" as a seperator to combine options:

left

set the picture to the left side of the page

right

set the picture to the right side of the page

center

set the picture to the center of the page

thumb

use a small version of the picture with an automatic link to the actual size version

frame

put the image in a frame

caption

add a frame and caption/description to the picture

100px

set the image size (in pixels) for display; in this case 100 pixels

Picture gallery

If you have multiple images to add to an article, use a gallery:
