How to ?
To use pictures in your articles, you first need to upload them to the Wiki French and English servers.
To do so, use the following upload forms:
Important:
- Use the comment field to describe you picture
- If the website says the picture already exists, rename your picture to avoid erasing the one already there
File type and size
There is no technical limitation when it comes to uploading, but we ask you to limit yourself to 150kB pictures. Abusive usage will result in file deletion, and technical limitations will be set.
To facilitate article reading, we ask you to limite picture dimension to 800*600 pixels.
Using uploaded images
See the help topic about using images in articles for more information.
Languages
Both website are completely independant, even if they have the same design. So, if you upload an image to the English Wiki, please upload it to the French one too, using the same name. This way the images can be used on both website too, and translating articlea will be easier.
Good behaviour rules
You are reminded to always follow them.
