Overview

Since Speed-Up, many new ressources were available on the community websites (TMX, forums, teams websites). It was quite hard for a player to find ressources in all offered websites.

TrackMania Meta Index was a software to help the players to find files, download and install them in the TrackMania games.

But the system was way too complexe and too fragile. Developpement was abandonned just after a first prototype, which was tested by the community.

TrackMania Meta Index priciple was reused in TrackMania Community Pilot (TMCP) in w simplier and restricted way.
