TrackMania Original is the first TrackMania game. Its first name was simply TrackMania. The community was mostly built around this particular game.

Furthermore, the TrackMania concept has evolved on this game. Now a days, TrackMania Original is quite far from the first TrackMania, even if the base concept is the same.

The game was developed around the network capacities, the game modes, and creativity possibilities.

Full game

Note : Whatever the version of TrackMania Original you have, you can always download and install the lastest one for free.

TrackMania Original (version 1.5)

Available since October, 2005, it is the marketed version which can easily be found at present. It includes numerous evolutions from TrackMania Sunrise in particular Platform game mode, mods control, P2P, 3D models, and new blocks.

Since the initial version, the number of blocks has been multiplied by more than 2 in TrackMania Original.

TrackMania Speed-Up (version 1.3 alpha 3)

Alpine / Day

Work version broadcasted to the community integrating the most part of TrackMania Sunrise new functionalities. This version let Nadeo do a test in real conditions for P2P, mods in Zip format, as well as lightened interface.

Today, this version is obsolete. It does not allow online play anymore.

TrackMania Power-Up (version 1.2.5)

Add-on published in March, 2004, offering numerous new blocks, especially tunnels and blocks to climb up and down moutains. The game also included a new game mode : Survival (as well as the Super Survival mode)

If you have an earlier version, you can download Power-Up add-on. You need it to update to TM Original.

TrackMania (version 1.1)

First patch correcting the most important bugs, and adding some others. The game in itself was not changed. No new blocks, no new game modes.

Today, this version is obsolete. It does not allow online play anymore.

TrackMania (version 1.0) November 28, 2003

Very first version marketed by Nadeo. Compared to TrackMania Original, it looks really shabby. But it is around this version that the community had been constitued. Admittedly there was some bugs and problems but the fun was there and everybody enjoyed themselves.

Today, this version is obsolete. It does not allow online play anymore.

Demo game

Several demo versions had been distributed. The only one which is still usable is the last one. It shows TrackMania Original features. There is a restriction of the bloc's number which can be used to do a track and so the game is limited : you can play online but only on demo tracks and tracks made with the demo version.
